GENERAL QUESTIONS ABOUT LASERCITY AND LaserTag
What is Laser Tag and how do you play at LaserCity?
Laser Tag is an action game with no physical contact, where each player wears an electronic vest and uses a laser phaser. The goal is to score points by hitting the sensors on other players and various targets inside the maze.
At LaserCity Madrid, you play in a futuristic environment with lights, fog, and music, in 20-minute matches where accuracy, strategy, and teamwork are key.
What is the minimum age to play Laser Tag at LaserCity?
The recommended minimum age to play at LaserCity is 7 years old, as long as the child can comfortably hold the laser phaser and follow the safety rules.
For older players looking for a more intense experience, there are specific formats such as Laser Nights (13+ years).
How long does a game last and how many people can play at the same time?
Each standard Laser Tag game at LaserCity lasts 20 minutes inside the maze.
The maximum number of players depends on the location, but it usually ranges between 28 and 33 players per game, depending on the number of available vests. You can play as a private group or be mixed with other players depending on availability.
Is Laser Tag safe for children and adults?
Yes. Laser Tag is a safe activity with no physical contact. There are no projectiles or impacts, only infrared light beams that activate the sensors on the vests. The game takes place in a controlled environment, with staff constantly supervising, clear safety rules, and state-of-the-art equipment. It’s an ideal active and safe leisure activity for children, teenagers, and adults.
Where is LaserCity Madrid located and which venues do you have?
LaserCity operates venues inside shopping centres across the Community of Madrid, allowing you to easily combine Laser Tag with other leisure activities.
Currently, we have locations at:
Palacio de Hielo Shopping Centre (Madrid)
Plaza Norte 2 Shopping Centre (San Sebastián de los Reyes)
Equinoccio Shopping Centre (Majadahonda)
On each location page, you’ll find detailed information on how to get there, public transport, and parking options.

For special opening hours or events outside these times, please contact the venue in advance.
Do I need to book in advance or can I just walk in without a reservation?
We strongly recommend booking in advance, especially on weekends, public holidays, birthdays and corporate events.
Without a reservation, you may find availability during off-peak hours, but it is not guaranteed.
Booking in advance secures your spot, time slot and type of experience (birthdays, group games, Laser Nights, etc.).

If you have any special requests, please contact the LaserCity team before making your reservation.
How many children can attend a birthday party and what’s the minimum?
Birthday party packs require a minimum of 10 children to be booked.
The maximum number of players depends on the number of available vests at each center and usually ranges between 28 and 33 players per game.
If you expect more guests or need multiple game sessions, our team will help you organize everything.
What should I wear to play Laser Tag?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and closed-toe sports shoes.
Inside the arena there is constant movement and low lighting, so it’s best to avoid sandals, heels or open shoes.
Light, breathable clothing is also recommended to allow free movement and avoid overheating during the game.
Can adults and children play together in the same game?
Yes, as long as everyone meets the minimum recommended age and agrees on the type of game being played.
It’s very common for families and mixed groups (parents, children and friends) to play together.
If you’re looking for a more competitive or intense experience for older players, there are specific formats available such as Laser Nights.
Companies, Groups and Special Experiences
Can corporate events or team building activities be organised at LaserCity?
Yes. LaserCity offers corporate and team building events in Madrid that combine:
Laser Tag games designed to improve communication and team coordination.
Meeting room availability for work sessions or presentations.
Catering options (breakfast, coffee break, aperitif or full meal).
It’s an ideal activity to strengthen team cohesion, celebrate achievements or simply break the routine with a different, safe and engaging experience.
Do you offer options for groups of friends that are not birthdays or corporate events?
Absolutely. You can book individual Laser Tag games for groups of friends, farewell parties, gamer meet-ups or alternative group plans in Madrid.
There are game modes specifically designed for groups who want to compete against each other, improve their ranking or simply enjoy an intense and fun experience together.
What are Laser Nights and who are they for?
Laser Nights are night-time Laser Tag sessions, held from Thursday to Saturday starting at 9:00 PM, designed for players aged 13 and over who are looking for more intense and competitive games.
During these sessions, the atmosphere is more “gamer”: faster pace, more demanding game modes, and no mixing with children’s birthday parties, so players who want to play seriously can enjoy their own dedicated space.
What is the LaserCity Laser Beta program?
Laser Beta is LaserCity’s Laser Tag beta-testing program. It brings together players aged 13 and over who want to try new game modes, settings and concepts before anyone else, in exclusive sessions lasting 2–3 hours with the venue fully reserved.
In exchange for their feedback, participants play for free and help improve the Laser Tag experience for everyone.
